1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Unlonely. By using the app, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 16+ years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18)
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

2. Nature of the Service

Unlonely is an interactive story game where players engage in scripted conversations with AI-powered characters to progress through storylines. Players help these characters overcome personal challenges and "dark" versions of themselves through dialogue choices. This is a game for entertainment purposes only and does not facilitate real relationships.

3. Game Content and Age Appropriateness

• Unlonely contains mild thematic elements including characters experiencing emotional challenges, insecurity, and interpersonal conflicts
• The game is designed to be appropriate for users 16 and older
• All content is pre-scripted with AI enhancements for natural conversation flow
• No user-generated content or player-to-player communication is permitted

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Unlonely for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit our game systems
• Share account access with others
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the game
• Attempt to extract, copy, or redistribute game content or code

5. Account and Data

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• We collect gameplay data to improve the game experience (see Privacy Policy for details)
• Progress and in-game achievements are tied to your account
• We reserve the right to reset or modify game progress for balancing or technical reasons

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including:

• Account information
• Gameplay statistics and choices
• Device information for app functionality
• Usage analytics to improve the game

For users under 18, we comply with applicable youth privacy protection laws.

7. AI Technology Disclaimer

• Character responses use AI technology to create dynamic conversations within scripted parameters
• AI responses are fictional and for entertainment only
• The game is not a substitute for real human relationships or professional mental health support
• Character behaviors and responses do not represent real people or relationships

8. Intellectual Property

All content in Unlonely, including but not limited to:

• Character designs and personalities
• Storylines and dialogue
• Game mechanics and systems
• Visual assets and music
• Trademarks and branding

Are the exclusive property of Nuanced Labs, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. In-App Purchases (if applicable)

• All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law
• Virtual items have no real-world value
• We reserve the right to modify virtual item pricing and availability

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse game systems or other players' experience

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Unlonely is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free gameplay
• That the game will meet your specific expectations
• The accuracy or appropriateness of all AI responses

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuanced Labs, Inc. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Unlonely.

13. Updates and Modifications

• We may update game content, features, and these Terms at any time
• Significant changes to Terms will be notified through the app
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Parental Controls

For users under 18, we encourage parental involvement and offer information about gameplay content upon request.
